Your new role
Our client is seeking a qualified and skilled electrician to join the team in Townsville! You will be responsible for the following duties:
• Installation and commissioning of new and existing fleet energy storage and management systems
• Perform preventative maintenance, service, and repair of fleet systems and equipment, including tanks, pumps, piping, valves, hoses, dispensers, hybrid, and battery systems.
• Fabrication, assembly, fault-finding, dismantling, maintenance and repair, and re-assembly of mechanical and electrical equipment.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will hold a Certificate III in Electrotechnology, previous experience in a similar role and have the following:
• Proactive ability in regard to leads for sales and service works
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to undertake installation and service works in the petroleum industry
• Drive and determination for results
• Collaborative and open communication with all team members
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Attention to detail
• Critical thinking

What you'll get in return
In return, our client can offer a permanent position, ensuring job security, with a pay rate of $48ph + an additional $15ph for away work. In addition:
