Your new role

A full-time opportunity is available for a qualified Electrician to join a dedicated team, working rotating shifts from Monday to Friday. The role involves performing electrical repairs and maintenance in line with relevant standards, supporting the installation and commissioning of new equipment, identifying opportunities for plant improvements, and contributing to the development of preventative maintenance systems to enhance operational efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Current and unrestricted Queensland Electrical Licence
  • Driving licence and reliable transport
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair work
  • Prior experience with PLCs, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Desirable certifications include EWP, Confined Spaces, Working at Heights, and Forklift – or a willingness to obtain (training costs covered by the employer)
  • First Aid certification is advantageous.
  • Completion of an Electrical Trade Certificate
  • Must reside in Mackay
