Your new role

You will develop and implement operational frameworks and controls to ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality standards. This includes creating work practice instructions, assurance processes, and inspection test plans for ground-based electricity distribution and transmission activities. You’ll collaborate across teams to drive safety, quality, and productivity improvements.

• Design and maintain work practice procedures for ground-based electrical activities.
• Develop and implement inspection test plans (ITPs) and train staff.
• Conduct audits, competency assessments, and incident investigations.
• Monitor compliance using systems such as Beakon, Safety Culture, WORQ, ADMS, and Cityworks.
• Engage with industry bodies to adopt best practices and lead trials for new work methods.

What you'll need to succeed

• Certificate III in ESI – Distribution Underground or equivalent.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
• Strong experience in developing work practices and assurance programs.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical information into clear instructions.
• Desirable: Diploma in engineering/management/law, auditor or lead investigator qualifications.
