Your new role
As the Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical construction activities and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with site standards and project requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supervising electrical construction works across the project
- Ensuring all activities comply with the Queensland Coal Mining Safety and Health Management System (SHMS)
- Coordinating and managing contractors and site personnel
- Monitoring project progress and maintaining construction schedules
- Conducting workplace inspections and safety interactions
- Ensuring compliance with site procedures, quality standards, and statutory obligations
- Providing leadership, guidance, and technical support to work crews
- Managing daily work plans, resources, and construction methodologies
- Reporting on project milestones, risks, and field activities
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience supervising construction works within a Queensland coal mining SHMS environment
- Strong experience in electrical construction methodologies
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Ability to coordinate multiple work fronts and contractors
- Relevant electrical qualifications and licences
- Current Australian driving licence
