A well-established global food leader is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical repairs and maintenance at their Rockhampton processing plant.

Your new role

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of the processing plant. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems and process control technologies across the site
  • Lead capital projects and oversee design initiatives to improve operational capabilities and infrastructure
  • Drive cost-effective strategies to enhance energy efficiency and reduce utility expenses
  • Ensure all electrical schematics and documentation are consistently updated and accurately maintained
  • Supervise daily electrical maintenance and repair activities to minimise downtime and support production goals
  • Establish and manage preventative maintenance programs and workshop improvements to boost plant reliability
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance standards
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage trade personnel while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture

What you'll need to succeed

  • Trade-qualified Electrician with over 5 years of experience in food manufacturing or value-added production environments
  • Extensive expertise in industrial systems, including refrigeration, wastewater management, steam generation, and environmental technologies
  • Proficient in PLC programming, including program development and fault diagnosis
  • Experienced in configuring HMI and working with common automation communication protocols
  • Strong commitment to safety, environmental standards, and workplace health practices
  • Locally based in the Rockhampton region, ensuring availability and reliability
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Contactable professional references
