Your new role

The EL1 Scrum Master (Labour Hire) is a senior project coordination role focused on delivering complex service design and improvement initiatives. Operating across both Agile and waterfall methodologies, the position involves managing project scope, timelines, and dependencies, while facilitating key ceremonies such as sprints, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups. It requires coaching teams to improve delivery maturity, maintaining governance through RAID logs and standardized tools, and supporting resource planning and backlog management. The role also demands strong stakeholder engagement, with responsibilities that include representing organizational interests in strategic forums and ensuring alignment with broader operational goals.

What you'll need to succeed

• Agile & Waterfall Expertise: Deep understanding of both methodologies, with the ability to coach teams and adapt approaches based on project needs.
• Project Coordination: Skilled in managing timelines, deliverables, and dependencies using project management tools and RAID logs.
• Governance & Compliance: Familiarity with public sector frameworks and the ability to escalate risks and ensure alignment with organizational standards.

• Relationship Building: Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholders, negotiate outcomes, and represent organizational interests in strategic forums.
• Customer-Centric Mindset: Commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of diverse stakeholders, including people with disability and their support networks.
