Hays has partnered with a Federal Government agency to recruit an EL1 Project Manager based in Brisbane on a 12-month contract.

Your new role:
In this role, you will work independently and lead projects, defining and managing requirements, scope, and delivery while ensuring compliance with the Agency’s framework, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
Apply advanced project management skills to ensure projects follow the Agency’s framework and meet security, risk, and clinical safety standards.
Ensure team and personal goals are met by monitoring progress and aligning projects with the Agency’s long-term plans.
Build and develop project teams through coaching, feedback, and career development to achieve project goals.
Manage staff, suppliers, assets, and finances within a project, adjusting plans as needed to meet changing demands.

What you'll need to succeed:
To be successful in the role, you will demonstrate:
Demonstrated expertise in project management for digital projects, ensuring compliance with Agency frameworks.
Proficient in using various project management methodologies, including waterfall, agile, and hybrid approaches.
Skilled at managing project schedules, risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies to ensure project completion.
Extensive understanding of government policies, processes, and compliance requirements and their impact on project delivery.
