Key responsibilities:
Monitoring workforce risks and trends to inform proactive HR strategies
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Extensive experience managing complex employee relations and case management in an APS or similar environment
Strong knowledge of WHS, workers’ compensation and employment legislation
Proven ability to provide strategic, risk-based HR advice to senior stakeholders
Experience in injury management and rehabilitation frameworks
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence outcomes
The ability to operate autonomously and exercise sound judgement in sensitive situations
Experience coaching or mentoring team members within HR functions
Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance are required.
