Preparing procurement documentation for Data Centre and Telecommunications requirements | Panels Team
Location: Hybrid work arrangements available in the ACT
Duration: Initial 6-month contract, with a possible 6-month extension
⏳ Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Our federal government client is seeking a highly skilled ICT Procurement Specialist to lead procurement activities, including market approaches, evaluation processes, and contract arrangements for critical infrastructure projects. You will be instrumental in preparing documentation such as Statements of Requirement, tender response templates, and evaluation reports, ensuring seamless procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine procurement documentation to support market approaches.
  • Participate in response evaluations and ensure compliance with procurement frameworks.
  • Apply technical expertise in Data Centre procurement, including Tier and Zone Ratings, security specifications, environmental sustainability, and pricing models.
  • Provides strategic insight into telecommunications procurement, focusing on protocols, standards, and supplier negotiations.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, driving procurement outcomes for government projects.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
✅ Extensive experience in ICT procurement, including panel arrangements and tender preparation.
✅ Strong knowledge of Data Centre and Telecommunications procurement standards.
✅ Proven ability to produce high-quality procurement documentation and evaluation methodologies.
✅ Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a solid understanding of Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
✅ Baseline security clearance.
