Your new company

As an EL1 Commercial Analyst, you will help lead the delivery of complex commercial work streams, with a strong focus on analysis, negotiation and stakeholder engagement. You will collaborate with colleagues across government and work closely with external stakeholders including industry participants, market bodies, consumer representatives and commercial and legal advisers to deliver high-quality commercial outcomes.

Your new role

• Lead and contribute to commercial analysis and strategy development for major energy-related initiatives.

• Support the design, negotiation, and execution of complex commercial agreements, working closely with internal teams and external advisors.

• Provide strategic advice on complex commercial issues, balancing risk, value for money and investment certainty.

• Prepare clear, concise briefings and recommendations for senior executives and decision-makers.

• Engage with a broad range of stakeholders to build alignment and support successful delivery outcomes.

• Contribute to broader policy and market design considerations that support investment in renewable and dispatchable energy projects.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in commercial analysis, transactions or advisory, ideally within energy or government.

• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to translate complex issues into clear, actionable advice.

• Sound judgement and the ability to balance commercial, policy, and strategic considerations.

• A collaborative mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
