ELI - Finance Manager

• Overseeing and managing financial processing, treasury, and compliance
• Preparing internal and external financial reports, including annual statements and budget submissions
• Advising senior stakeholders on financial performance and risk
• Developing financial policies and instruments of delegation
• Ensuring adherence to statutory obligations under the PGPA Act
• Leading initiatives to improve operational efficiency
• Supervising and mentoring junior finance staff

• Proven experience in financial management within a government or complex organisational setting
• Strong understanding of financial frameworks, accounting standards, and compliance obligations
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver outcomes under pressure
• Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, or Business (desirable)
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance
