My client is currently seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to join their operations team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable company known for its commitment to innovation, safety, and professional development.
Your new role
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems across the site.
Perform routine inspections, calibrations, and preventative maintenance on control systems and field instruments.
Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.
Interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams.
Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and company procedures.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and system performance.
What you'll need to succeed
Certificate III or IV in Electrical or Instrumentation (or equivalent trade qualification).
Current electrical licence (if applicable).
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a similar E&I role within an industrial or resource sector.
Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and instrumentation systems.
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
What you'll get in return

8/6 day shift and 7/7 night shift roster
