Your new role

  • Prepare and update detailed fabrication and engineering drawings
  • Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and workshop teams
  • Ensure drawings meet Australian Standards and project specifications
  • Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and document control
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across drafting processes
  • Plan and manage drafting deliverables within project timelines and budgets
  • Attend site to complete measurements, sectional sketches, and photo documentation
  • Ensure compliance with relevant ISO standards and quality requirements

What you'll need to succeed

  • Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting or equivalent qualification
  • Proven CAD/drafting experience (fabrication experience highly regarded)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
