Your new role

As Drafter, you will be responsible for producing accurate and compliant construction drawings to support residential volume and mixed-use building projects. Working closely with estimating, production and site teams, you will ensure documentation is coordinated, buildable and aligned with project requirements.

• Preparing and updating detailed construction drawings
• Producing layouts, working drawings and revisions as required
• Reviewing plans to ensure accuracy and buildability
• Coordinating drawing changes arising from design updates or variations
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve documentation issues
• Maintaining organised drawing registers and document control
• Supporting estimating and construction teams with technical information
• Ensuring drawings align with project standards and quality expectations

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous experience in a drafting role within the building industry
• Exposure to residential volume building or commercial projects (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to interpret plans, specifications and construction requirements
• Good communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams
• A proactive and organised approach to managing deadlines
• Commitment to quality, consistency and professional standards
