Your new role

As the Senior Document Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient, accurate and compliant management of project documentation during a busy project phase.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing, administering and maintaining the electronic document management system (EDMS) for new projects and tenders
  • Providing training, guidance and support to project teams, engineers and document controllers
  • Assisting early ‑ stage project teams with document workflows, quality management plans and project management systems
  • Working closely with the Quality Manager to support business unit quality functions
  • Liaising with contractors, internal stakeholders and project quality teams to ensure smooth document control processes
  • Upholding document and data quality, consistency and compliance with organisational requirements

This is a hands ‑ on, fast ‑ paced role suited to someone who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys supporting teams through effective document and quality control systems.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 2–5 years’ experience in document control or quality coordination
  • Strong technical understanding of document control processes
  • High attention to detail and a systematic, organised approach to work
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence delivering training to users at all levels
  • The ability to prioritise, make decisions and support multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working with EDMS platforms (TeamBinder experience highly advantageous)
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to quickly build rapport with project teams
