Your New Role
As the Document Controller & Regulatory Affairs Officer, you will be instrumental in supporting the company’s compliance with aviation legislation and regulatory frameworks. Reporting to the General Manager of Safety and Quality, this role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring documentation and regulatory processes are accurate, timely, and aligned with operational needs.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing controlled documents and regulatory approvals within the company’s document management system
Coordinating the publication and distribution of operational manuals and policies
Supporting tender documentation and brand standardisation across business units
Acting as liaison for regulatory communications with CASA and other aviation bodies
Assisting with the implementation of new aviation regulations and internal projects
Maintaining the document library and supporting departmental documentation formatting
What You’ll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring a combination of technical proficiency, regulatory awareness, and strong communication skills. You’ll be comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating across departments.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and desktop publishing tools
Strong understanding of civil aviation legislation and regulatory frameworks
Experience in document control, data management systems
High-level written English and attention to detail
Familiarity with airline operations and departmental structures
Ability to meet aviation-related drug and alcohol testing requirements
Current ASIC or ability to obtain one
Desirable attributes:
Project planning and time management skills
Reliable, punctual, and proactive in communication
Comfortable working with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders

Monday–Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
Hourly rate from $50/hr – $55/hr + Super
