Your new company is a local government authority that provides a range of services and facilities to Townsville. Our client is seeking various skilled plant operators to join the disposal support team in Townsville.

Your new role

Your new role will see you working as a plant operator, responsible for maintaining waste management facilities. The key responsibilities include:

• Litter management
• Signage maintenance
• Hazardous waste shed upkeep
• Public supervision
• Gatehouse relief
• Plant operation
• Assisting the leading hand to ensure task completion.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful for this role you will have previous experience operating a front end loader and a compacter.
Required:

• Current HR Driver's Licence
• Front end loader ticket
• Compacter ticket

Desirable:

• Grader, excavator, dozer and backhoe tickets.

What you'll get in return

In return my client can offer a Monday–Friday roster with consistent hours and $39.81 per hour + overtime. This role will see you working until the end of November 2025.
