Your new role
Reporting to the Executive Director of Finance, the Director of Financial Analysis, Planning, and Procurement will oversee and manage the financial planning, analysis, and procurement functions of the organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning, as well as leading procurement strategies to optimise costs, efficiency, and compliance.
In detail your role will see you
- Lead the development and execution of the organisation’s financial planning and budgeting process.
- Create detailed financial forecasts, reports, and analysis to assist senior leadership in strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), making recommendations for course corrections when needed.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of trends, financial models, and variance reports, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee the procurement function, ensuring best practices for sourcing, vendor management, and cost control.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with key departments to align financial planning and procurement with business objectives.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of financial analysts, planners, and procurement specialists.
- Present financial insights and procurement strategies to executives and other stakeholders.

Key to your success will be your enhanced communication skills. This is a role that will see you liaising with key stakeholders across the organisation who will look to you to deliver complex financial information in a relatable way.
Essential to the role
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- CA/CPA professional qualification
- Demonstrated experience working in a multi-site/business unit environment.
- Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, planning and procurement.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in budget management, financial modelling, and procurement strategy development.
- Strong understanding of financial systems, ERP software, and procurement tools.
