Your new role
The key focus of this role is the management of Secure Digital solutions through the Software Development Life Cycle phases of planning, creating, testing, deploying, and retiring a system. It is responsible for supporting the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of digital and data solutions while ensuring the highest levels of security and compliance through the principles of DevSecOps.
Key responsibilities include:
• Determine system requirements and contribute to the planning, execution, testing and documentation phases of development.
• Comply with leading practice life cycle management of applications and digital solutions, to ensure secure effective performance, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
• Integrate security into the entire software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing and deployment.
• Automate security checks and vulnerability assessments within the CI/CD pipeline.
• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to remediate identified vulnerabilities and implement security best practices.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and security practices.
Experience with:
• Microsoft Technology stack
• Languages: Highly proficient in Microsoft ASP.NET., MatLAb
• Source control: GIT.
• Databases: Microsoft SQL Server/MySQLTesting.
• Web related development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WCAG, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, Python, R, Angular, Web API.
• Tools, and Agile ways of working: SCRUM, JIRA, Azure DevOps, Visual Studio.
• Knowledge or experience in Security, OWASP and other related security best practices.
• Cloud native development – Azure or AWS.
• Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus solutions
• Must be an Australian Citizen as NV1 Clearance will be provided
