A respected not‑for‑profit organisation is seeking an experienced Marketing Officer to join their Marketing & Engagement team. This full‑time position (37.5 hours per week) plays a central role in delivering strategic, creative and high‑impact marketing initiatives that strengthen brand presence and support community outcomes.
Your new role
The Marketing Officer will contribute to the planning, execution and evaluation of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels. Working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, the role ensures consistent brand representation, effective audience engagement and measurable campaign performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies across a diverse portfolio of campaigns and organisational initiatives.
- Coordinating digital and traditional media campaigns, including agency liaison, budget oversight and timeline management.
- Managing website content and SEO, supporting lead generation and ongoing site optimisation.
- Leading social media content development, scheduling, monitoring and paid advertising management.
- Producing marketing collateral and ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
- Analysing campaign performance and preparing detailed reports for executive and board review.
- Supporting major events and national/state campaigns, including annual awareness initiatives.
- Maintaining promotional merchandise, media consent records and external directory listings.
What you'll need to succeed
- A qualification in marketing, communications, PR or a related field, with at least three years’ experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated capability in planning, delivering and evaluating marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
- Strong digital skills, including content creation, copywriting and social media management (organic and paid).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator preferred, Canva essential) and experience managing WordPress content.
- Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively.
- A C ‑ class driving licence, smartphone, and a National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
