My client a State Government department is seeking an experienced Digital Content Publisher for a short-term temporary role. Based in the Adelaide CBD, this role offers a great opportunity to contribute to impactful public-facing digital content.
Your new role
As a Digital Content Publisher, you will join a collaborative digital team responsible for maintaining and enhancing the department’s websites and intranet. You will use the Squiz Matrix Content Management System to create, edit, and publish accessible, accurate, and user-focused content. You will also play a key role in ensuring that all content meets Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and adheres to plain English writing principles. In addition to publishing tasks, you’ll contribute to quality assurance testing to ensure functionality and styling are consistent with the department’s digital standards.
What you’ll need to succeed
Experience using web content management systems (Squiz Matrix highly regarded)
Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and how they apply to web content
Strong written communication skills, particularly writing and editing in plain English
Ability to optimise content for usability and SEO
Familiarity with Google Analytics
A current National Police Check
Availability to start immediately and commit for the duration of the assignment
Ability to work full-time on-site in the Adelaide CBD
