Your new role

The Digital Communications Officer will be responsible for promoting the Swan Valley as a premier destination through strategic digital marketing activities. This includes planning, executing, and optimising digital campaigns across various platforms, managing website content, overseeing social media, and coordinating international and interstate marketing initiatives. The role is part-time, preferably across 3 consecutive work days a week with flexible work hours and an estimated duration of 3 months, with possible extensions to cover maternity leave.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, candidates will need a tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field, along with proven experience in digital marketing. You'll have a strong understanding of social media management, content creation, and online advertising is essential. Proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, website CMS (ROAM), and email marketing platforms (Klaviyo) is required. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment are also crucial.
