Your new role
Service and repair diesel engines and hydraulic systems
Maintain drilling rigs and support equipment
Troubleshoot hydraulic faults and replace components
Inspect and service diesel hydraulic power units (HPUs)
Respond to breakdowns on-site and offshore (jetty/barge)
Conduct daily pre-starts and safety checks
Follow BMA safety procedures and permit systems
Complete job cards and maintenance records
Work closely with drillers and riggers
Maintain tools, parts, and work area cleanliness
What you'll need to succeed
Diesel Fitter / Mechanic – Trade Certificate
Construction White Card
Valid Drivers Licence
Ability to complete a police check & pass a pre-employment medical
Ability to drive to site every day as this is a local position
What you'll get in return
In return, you will work at the coal terminal, assisting with a project from now until Christmas. This position will see you working on a Monday to Friday roster, between 10 – 12 hours per day. You will be paid on an attractive flat hourly rate + super on all hours worked. You will also receive a weekly pay for the duration of this assignment.
