Hays Recruitment are currently looking for a number of Housekeepers / Cleaners to work at Woomera Village which is part of the Woomera RAAF base located in the far north of South Australia, 5 hours from Adelaide.

These roles are available for drive in drive out (DIDO) on a 14 day on 7 day off roster with lots of hours and excellent pay rates. Successful candidates will also receive free accommodation and all meals covered while you are on site.

As these roles are DIDO, successful candidates will require a current drivers licence and reliable vehicle to get to and from site for your swings and as these roles are on a Defence contract applicants are required to be Australian Citizens as some defence clearances will be required.

The role of housekeeper / cleaner will see you working in a fast paced and demanding environment with your day to day duties encompassing a number of different tasks and duties including:

These roles will see you working 2 week swings and working 12 hour days, you will be part of a close knit workforce with a major focus on working as a team and helping other people whenever you can. All accommodation and food is provided while you are on site and your accommodation will see you sharing a 3 bedroom house with one or two other people.

To be successful in the role you will need to have some prior commercial cleaning experience preferably in a hotel or motel type environment. Successful candidates must be able to provide a police check that is no more than 4 weeks old. Candidates must have a drivers licence and access to their own reliable vehicle and they will have to undertake some online inductions prior to commencing work
