Hays are working with a leading not-for-profit organisation that offer mental health support services to young people across Western Australia. The Organisation is experiencing a period of growth and are looking for an experienced Clinical Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a rare and exciting DIDO opportunity at 0.8 FTE working approx. 90km from Perth CBD.
Your new role
Senior leadership opportunity working alongside the Centre Manager and state-wide leadership teams to provide clinical leadership, line management, training and development of a multi-disciplinary team. Ensuring clinical and non-clinical work is performed effectively to the local community. Main accountabilities of this position include:
• Management of the day-to-day operations of the clinic
• Monitor and lead the ongoing delivery of high-standard evidence-based care to clients
• Oversee a comprehensive intake service, managing all internal/external pathways
• Provide and supervise the implementation of psycho-social assessments using agreed tools to determine client suitability to services
• Deliver clinical supervision/guidance and provide daily support to direct reports
• Coordinate weekly clinical case review meetings and monthly team meetings
• Work in collaboration with other providers across the community to support collaboration of services
• Participate in the development and delivery of education and training for community groups relating to mental health and promotion of the organisations service offerings
• Adhere to clinical reporting requirements
• Assist in onboarding of new team members to the organisation
• Manage resources and rosters to effectively manage client loads and responsive service delivery
What you'll need to succeed
• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology (clinical, counselling, 4+2 or 5+1 pathway, Mental Health Nursing or Occupational Therapy
• Must have active registration with AHPRA or AASW
• Advanced knowledge and experience working with youth at risk
• Experience in leading/coordinating a multi-disciplinary team
• Experience working across Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
