You'll be joining a high growth Wireless Networking / Communications company based in Sydney CBD. The company has an International client base (AU, UK, Europe, U.S) and has experienced significant growth over the past 5 years. The company has a talented team of specialist technology professionals and offer a flexible & supportive working environment. This role will be based out of the companie's Sydney based R&D centre which was established around 5 years ago, they have since hired some of the best technology professionals in Sydney.

Your new role

• DevSecOps Engineer role within Sydney based R&D facility
• Report to the Engineering Manager, developing and automating real-time voice and data soft switching technology
• Work on solutions which provide to industries such as; Utilities, Public Services & Defence
• Work with the head of engineering in order to design DevOps & Automation best practices
• Collaborate with specialist Software, Hardware & VoIP Engineers in order to design world class solutions

What you'll need to succeed

• The company is looking for a highly adaptable, solutions focussed DevSecOps Engineer, they are open to industry experience however if you have Communications or VoIP experience this would be a huge plus!
• Computer Science Degree (will consider communications or electronics)
• Expert in development; Ansible, Python, RestAPI, SQL
• Ideally experience in one of the following; wireless networking, telecommunications, VoIP
• GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube
• Proven experience building REST APIs communicating with a backend Database (MySQL/Galera)
• Ability to produce systems engineering documentation, including software requirements, software design and software test plans
