Your new role
As a Development Enquiry Officer, you will be the first point of contact for development-related enquiries. You will provide accurate advice on planning matters, assist with applications, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and council policies. This role requires strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
What you'll need to succeed
- A degree in Planning or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within local government (essential).
- Strong understanding of planning legislation and development processes.
- Excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with Content Management (CM) systems is advantageous.
What you'll get in return
- Hourly rate of $60 + superannuation.
- 35 hours per week, fully on-site.
- Immediate start for a 3-month contract
