Our client is a well-established transport and logistics business operating a busy regional depot, supporting freight movement across Queensland. Your new role

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Casual Depot Labourer to join our team. This role will support the Branch Maintenance Officer with day-to-day depot upkeep and general labouring duties.
The position is offered on a casual basis, working approximately 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), 4–6 hours per shift, with the opportunity for additional hours during peak periods.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Emptying bins and maintaining depot cleanliness

  • Line marking freight bays

  • Using a blower to clean the warehouse/shed areas

  • Sweeping walkways and general housekeeping duties

  • Assisting with ad hoc maintenance tasks as required

  • Supporting container de-stuff operations from time to time, including:

  • Hand unloading shipping containers

  • Stacking freight onto pallets for storage

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work and takes pride in maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • A strong work ethic and positive attitude

  • Reliability and punctuality

  • Ability to perform manual handling and physically demanding tasks

  • Good attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Forklift licence

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, transport, or labouring environment

Please note: Due to the depot location, reliable personal transport is required.
