Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following:
- Provide financial and operational accounting support to Dealer Principals and regional leadership, including maintaining accurate trial balances, balance sheet reconciliations, and correct P&L allocations across assigned dealerships.
- Manage EOM and EOY reporting requirements, including GST review, BAS support, EOM reporting, and ensuring all deadlines are met with accuracy.
- Prepare and analyse key financial inputs such as commissions, budgets, forecasts, and operational data to support business performance and decision-making.
- Support broader retail accounting functions through audit preparation, PBC documentation, and ad hoc tasks that contribute to efficient and compliant accounting processes.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
- CPA/ CA qualified or working towards
- Tertiary degree
- High level of attention to detail and working towards deadlines
- Must have dealership accounting experience, including exposure to DMS systems
