Your new role
My client is engaging a senior, enterprise-level Network Architect to lead the architectural design and delivery of major multi-site Data Centre uplift initiatives. This role is for someone who operates at expert level — someone who has personally designed and delivered large-scale data centre architectures and is comfortable being accountable for the final technical outcome.

Role and responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end architecture of multi-site data centre network solutions.
• Make definitive architectural decisions across scale, resilience, performance, security, and operational risk.
• Remove ambiguity and drive technical clarity across engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Lead validation strategy — lab testing, proof-of-concept, and production readiness.
• Embed automation and repeatable standards to increase long-term operational maturity.
• Deliver production-ready, fully documented architectures aligned to enterprise governance frameworks.

What you'll need to succeed

• 10+ years designing enterprise-scale network architectures in complex, multi-site environments.
• Demonstrated ownership of data centre architecture at scale — not just configuration or build activity.
• Proven delivery across the full lifecycle: strategy, HLD/LLD, validation, implementation oversight, and transition to operations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent enterprise-level experience.
• CCIE, CCDE or equivalent expert-level certification are strongly preferred.
• Cisco ACI (including multi-site deployments)
• EVPN (multi-site), OSPF, BGP at enterprise scale
• Palo Alto firewall architecture and policy design
• WAF and load balancer integration
• Optical networking strategy and transceiver design
• Hybrid networking across public and private cloud environments
