Your new role

As a Data Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of a complex data consolidation programme, bringing together disparate data sources, systems, and platforms into a modern, cloud-based environment.
You will own the end-to-end project lifecycle, working closely with data engineers, architects, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful migration and integration. The role will require strong governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement across both technical and business teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading large-scale data migration and consolidation initiatives
  • Managing delivery across AWS-based data platforms
  • Coordinating multiple workstreams including data ingestion, transformation, and validation
  • Driving programme timelines, dependencies, and governance structures
  • Managing stakeholder expectations across senior leadership and technical teams
  • Ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance throughout migration activities
  • Identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies in a fast-paced environment

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering complex data programmes, ideally within telecommunications
  • Strong experience with AWS cloud environments (e.g. data lakes, Redshift, S3, or similar)
  • Demonstrated track record of large-scale data migration and consolidation projects
  • Deep understanding of data architectures, integration patterns, and data lifecycle management
  • Experience working in telco or similarly complex, high-volume data environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong governance, risk, and delivery management capabilities
  • Agile and/or hybrid delivery experience
