Join an established QLD Government Department that delivers corporate transactional and advisory services to over 73,000 public servants across 42 Queensland Government departments and agencies. They are currently undertaking a major Finance Modernisation Program, transitioning to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. This transformation will modernise service delivery, enhance customer self-service, and standardise finance processes across 21 client agencies.

Your new role

You will play a key role in supporting the SAP S/4HANA data migration effort.

Some of your day-to-day duties will include:

• Extracting, mapping, cleansing, and loading data from legacy systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity throughout the migration process

• Coordinating with stakeholders, developing transformation rules, validating data, and contributing to documentation and playbook development

• Supporting data reconciliation and providing insights to improve data quality and consistency

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in full-cycle data migration, including extraction, transformation, loading, and validation.

• Expertise in data mapping, source system analysis, and conversion methodologies.

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP Data Services, with experience using tools like SAP Cloud ALM.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex data issues.

• High-level communication skills to engage and consult with diverse stakeholders.

What you'll get in return

You will be offered a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension, the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact transformation project, and an hourly rate of $113+Super/HR.
