A federal government agency is looking for a Data Engineer to join their Business Intelligence team to support the architecture design of their Azure cloud data services including ADLS, SQL DB, data lake Synapse and blob storage.

Your new role

You will be working as part of an engaging and highly focused team, collaborating to deliver business and data lake solutions. You will be responsible for reviewing current-built data architecture, recommending improvements and ensuring data governance through Azure.

What you'll need to succeed

• Solid experience in Data Engineering
• Experience in detailed design for data integration on Azure cloud data services including ADLS, SQL DB, data lake Synapse and blob storage
• Solid experience developing complex ETLs based on SSIS and customised coding C#, .net or vb.net Development experience with Power BI (stored procedure, DAX, functions, views)
• Strong Azure data factory and Azure Event Hub Strong understanding of DevOps or other version control system.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Exceptional communication skills including written and oral skills

This role will require Australian Citizenship and Baseline/NV1 security clearance.
