• Lead innovation and continuous improvement across analytics and reporting workstreams, including the design and maintenance of data pipelines, visualisations and ad hoc analysis.
• Collaborate with the Director, Business Intelligence and Analytics to develop and implement data strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
• Provide subject matter expertise and technical leadership within the analytics team and across the agency.
• Promote the adoption and effective use of analytical tools and insights across the organisation.
• Prepare reports and communicate findings to inform the Executive and Board on data platform practices and risk mitigation strategies.

• Proven experience in data analytics.
• Strong ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure Analytics Stack and Databricks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on gathering business requirements and delivering effective solutions.
• (Desired) Experience in managing and leading a team.
