My client is undergoing a major ERP transformation, moving from a legacy Oracle system to Workday. This programme is a high-impact initiative focused on improving financial data integrity, reporting capability, and system efficiency.
Your new role
As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the data migration and validation activities across the ERP transformation.
You will be responsible for:
- Extracting, transforming, and loading data using Excel (Power Query is essential)
- Migrating and reconciling financial data from Oracle into Workday
- Building data validation tools and frameworks to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies across legacy and new systems
- Developing dashboards and reporting using Power BI
- Supporting testing phases including UAT and validation cycles
- Documenting data mappings, business rules, and transformation logic
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong experience as a Data Analyst in transformation or migration environments
- Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query (mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with Power BI (data modelling, DAX, dashboards)
- Experience working on ERP transformations or data migration projects
- Solid understanding of financial data and reconciliation processes
- Strong attention to detail and data quality focus
- Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Desirable:
- Exposure to Oracle and/or Workday systems
- Experience building reusable validation tools
- SQL knowledge
