My client requires a data analyst with 2+ years experience to support workforce planning, financial insight, and organisational reporting, working closely with senior stakeholders across finance and operational teams.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, commercially minded, and a clear communicator who can confidently explain both what the data shows and how it was produced.
Your new role
- Develop, maintain, and enhance workforce planning, budgeting, and forecasting models
- Build and manage robust P&L and financial reporting templates
- Analyse large and complex datasets to support strategic and operational decision‑making
- Design clear, intuitive Excel-based dashboards and reporting tools
- Leverage Power Query and Power Pivot to automate, transform, and optimise data workflows
- Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver insights in a concise, practical format
- Clearly articulate analytical processes, assumptions, and outcomes to both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reported data
What you'll need to succeed
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including:
- Power Query (data extraction, transformation, and automation)
- Power Pivot (data modelling, DAX, and performance optimisation)
- Strong capability working with large datasets
- Experience building reusable forecasting, budgeting, and scenario-planning templates
Domain Expertise
- Workforce planning and workforce analytics
- P&L management and financial reporting
- Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Experience supporting decision‑making within complex organisations
