You will be working for a leading University based in Sydney.

Your new role

You will maintain business‑as‑usual cybersecurity governance and assurance operations. You will manage and update cybersecurity risk registers, policies, controls, and treatment plans. You will lead follow‑ups from NIST assessments and vulnerability management reporting. You will resolve cyber governance tickets (ServiceNow) and support day‑to‑day CISO office activities.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in cybersecurity governance, risk, assurance, or compliance roles
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF and familiarity with other security frameworks
• Experience reviewing and developing information security policies and directives
• Proven background in audits, assurance programs, governance reporting, and risk management
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow, Jira, Protecht, or similar GRC tools
