A leading public sector organisation is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Officer to strengthen its cybersecurity posture and drive strategic uplift across cloud and hybrid environments.

Your new role

In this senior role, you’ll work closely with the CIO to design and deliver security programs, uplift Essential 8 maturity, lead incident response, and ensure robust protection of enterprise systems. You’ll also develop policies, guide best‑practice implementation, and provide expert advice across the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

You’ll bring strong experience in enterprise cyber‑security, familiarity with frameworks such as the ASD Essential 8, NIST or ISO 27000‑series, and hands‑on capability across modern security technologies. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders are essential.

What you'll get in return

In return, you will receive a salary of between $120k-$135k+ super, plus great additional benefits and work environment, alongside the opportunity to help shape and drive really exciting cyber work.
