Cyber Business Analyst

Cyber Business Analyst

Your new company

Join a leading organisation undergoing a critical cyber uplift following major security incidents. The Cyber Resilience and Recovery Program (CRRP), launched in October 2024, operates within an enterprise PMO under the COO and is delivering over 100 initiatives across a multi-year roadmap through to 2027.

This is a high-profile program focused on strengthening cyber capability, meeting regulatory obligations, and driving meaningful organisational change in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment.

Your new role

As a Cyber Business Analyst, you will play a key role supporting delivery across four major cyber streams:\
  • Network Segmentation
  • Identity & Access Management
  • Data Remediation
  • Cyber Hardening

This is a highly hands-on role requiring both analytical thinking and practical execution, working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders in a matrix environment. You will:
  • Elicit, analyse and document business and technical requirements across multiple cyber initiatives
  • Work closely with engineers and SMEs to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes
  • Support solution design, process mapping, and impact analysis across cyber streams
  • Contribute to governance, reporting, and delivery tracking activities
  • Engage with a broad stakeholder group, building strong relationships across business and IT
  • Assist in navigating ambiguity and evolving priorities within a fast-moving program environment

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within cyber security or technology transformation programs

  • Strong technical understanding of environments leveraging Illumio, Okta, Azure, and SIEM/MDR platforms

  • Demonstrated ability to balance hands-on delivery (‘doing’) with analytical thinking (‘thinking’)

  • Experience working in matrix-style organisations with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities

  • High emotional intelligence, resilience, and strong stakeholder engagement capability

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-change environment

  • Willingness to commit to intensive delivery cycles

  • Relevant cyber security certifications and/or Business Analysis / Project qualifications

  • Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in Parramatta

What you'll get in return

  • Opportunity to work on a critical, enterprise-wide cyber program

  • Exposure to complex transformation across a large, regulated environment

  • A delivery-focused team with strong program momentum and long-term roadmap (to 2027)

  • Competitive contract rates
