We’re looking for empathetic and resilient Customer Service Consultants to join our Hardships & Collections team.

In this role, you’ll provide compassionate, solutions-focused support to customers experiencing financial hardship—helping them regain stability and confidence in their future.

This is a full-time, 9-month contract role based in Parramatta, with strong potential for permanent conversion.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Engage with customers facing financial hardship, offering tailored support and practical solutions.
  • Handle enquiries with empathy, urgency, and professionalism.
  • Use your resilience and positivity to guide meaningful conversations.
  • Help customers navigate their way back to financial wellbeing.
  • Apply negotiation and questioning skills to assess eligibility for hardship assistance.

What You’ll Bring
  • Previous experience in customer service or a contact centre environment.
  • Confidence in managing sensitive conversations with care and professionalism.
  • High levels of empathy, emotional intelligence, and resilience.
  • A customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing information.
  • Prior experience in collections is highly regarded.
