Your new role

As the Customer Service representative, you will work to maintain relationships with internal & external customers, working within the Australia & New Zealand regional customer service team to provide support to Clients, Operations, External Sales Representatives, Account Managers and broader Sales Management teams.

Your day-to-day duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Working within the Centralised Customer Service Team to assist in the processing of RFQ to Order release stages.
  • Answering of national phone line queue enquiries
  • Maintain relationships with customers/ potential customers to ensure customer satisfaction and future business opportunities
  • Answers customer queries in regards to pricing, turnaround and technical information.
  • Enters, maintains and reviews customer pricing and customer database.
  • Contribute as an active member of the Business by generating ideas and opportunities, identifying risks and helping resolve business issues and problems.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess the following:

  • Good knowledge in software programs such as Outlook, SharePoint and ERP systems
  • Sales and Quality Systems - familiar with Quality Assurance, CRM software / procedures
  • Demonstrated success in providing superior customer service to a wide range of stakeholders
  • Preferred knowledge and experience obtained in the steel fabrication and/ or construction industry, highly desirable but not essential
