Your new role

Your new role as a Customer Service Representative you will join a fantastic team responsible for duties not limited to:

  • Handle incoming phone calls confidently and professionally, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Process and manage key customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and oversee customer accounts, including updates and issue resolution.
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support daily operations.
  • Complete data entry tasks and ensure proper filing and organisation of documents.
  • Set up new product items in the system and create detailed job specifications.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure availability and accuracy.
  • Handle petty cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare and provide quotes and estimates for customers as required.
  • Act as a backup for the Purchasing Officer, assisting with procurement tasks when needed.
  • Undertake other duties as directed to support the team and business objectives.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you will meet the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and confidently, especially when handling phone calls and engaging with customers.
  • Strong organisational skills with experience in managing customer accounts and processing orders accurately.
  • High attention to detail for administrative tasks, including data entry, document filing, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Solid understanding of inventory control and financial processes, such as stock management and petty cash handling.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities, including supporting purchasing activities and taking on additional responsibilities when required.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with the capability to set up new items, create job specifications, and prepare accurate quotes or estimates.
