Customer Service Credit Officer – Asset Finance (Permanent | Call Centre | Hybrid)
Location: South West Sydney Work Arrangement: Hybrid (office‑based and work from home)

We are seeking a motivated Customer Service Credit Officer to join a well‑established financial services organisation in a permanent, call‑centre‑based role. This position is predominantly phone‑based and blends credit assessment with high‑quality customer service, supporting customers, dealer partners, and internal stakeholders.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working on the phones, delivering strong customer outcomes, and applying sound credit judgement within a regulated financial services environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls within a call centre environment
  • Provide professional, friendly, and solution‑focused service to customers, dealers, and brokers
  • Review and assess retail finance applications in line with internal credit policies and responsible lending requirements
  • Clearly communicate credit decisions and next steps to customers and partners over the phone.
  • Respond to enquiries relating to applications, account matters, and documentation

About You
  • Experience in customer service, credit assessment, lending, or financial services operations
  • Comfortable working in a call centre and phone‑based environment
  • Strong communication skills with a confident phone manner
  • Customer‑focused with the ability to manage objections, negotiations, and escalations
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Team‑oriented, adaptable, and motivated to learn and develop
