This prominent department within the Victorian State Government is seeking a Customer Change and Response Lead responsible for leading and coordinating consistent and targeted communications to ensure people can plan their journeys around the cumulative impacts of major disruptions on the transport network. The role works with internal and external stakeholders and public transport operators to deliver coordinated and targeted communications and stakeholder engagement. You will develop and deliver communications and engagement plans – ensuring high-level comprehensive plans that effectively analyse stakeholders, define messaging and channels, reflect potential issues, and propose mitigations within the outlined timeframes. As well as, providing genuine engagement to develop effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to understand broader policy and localised issues, ensuring that engagement with stakeholders and the community is timely, appropriate, and transparent to build a high level of trust. This role will run until 31st December working out the Melbourne CBD office 3 days per week.
What you'll too succeed
Track record of developing and delivering tailored engagement plans, aligned to context, risk and audience
Proven experience leading community and stakeholder engagement across complex and sensitive issues
IAP2 qualifications (Essentials or Certificate) are highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to design and deliver early, clear and ongoing engagement and communication with key partners and stakeholders
Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to prepare consultation summaries, community updates, stakeholder reports and briefing materials
