Join a start-up Australian Non-Bank, Private Lender who are focused on providing a great service to their brokers and customers with fast and flexible solutions! Due to the growing market and business opportunity, they are seeking a Credit Manager to join their team and help shape a successful business.

Your new role

Working as a Commercial Lending Credit Manager you will be;

• Working with the Managing Director to develop and build out the credit model and matrix
• Leading a back-office processing team, while creating forecasting plans for team expansion based on volumes
• Building process maps and procedures for your team, providing all the tools to be successful within the role
• Assisting with complex credit decisioning and advising your team on how to think outside the box
• Submitting and presenting credit deals to the Managing Director if it is outside the DLA limits.
• Leading and coaching on credit and processing
• Liaising with Senior Management on all reporting aspects

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Previous experience as a Credit Leader/Manager
• A DLA held within Commercial Lending at a Senior Level
• Exposure to unsecured and secured lending
• Experience in creating and implementing new policies/processes
• People skills, being able to work in a diverse and engaging environment
• An innovative and go-getter approach
