The Opportunity

This top 10 Australian law firm with over 250 Partners and 1700 lawyers nationally is looking for 2x experienced corporate lawyer to join their Corporate/Commercial team based in Sydney. They are looking at both Associate and Senior Associate level. In this role you will work alongside 30 corporate lawyers nationally, including 12 in the Sydney office. You will get involved in a mixture of equity capital markets (ECM), public M&A, private treaty M&A, strategic advice and corporate governance work.

Role Responsibilities

• Equity capital markets transactions, including IPO and ASX listings, secondary raisings as well as private rounds
• Private and public M&A, including sale of business, share purchase agreements and schemes of arrangements
• Corporate governance and director duties advice
• Business set up, structuring, shareholder agreements and related documentation
• Work in collaboration with International Clients in relation to Australian transactions
