Contract Administrator – FIFO | Tier 1 Mining Client
Location: Newman, WA Roster: Fly‑In Fly‑Out (FIFO 8/6 Roster) Contract Duration: Minimum 2 years Project: New Iron Ore Mine Development
We are currently seeking a Contract Administrator to join a Tier 1 mining client on a major new iron ore project based in Newman, Western Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved from the early stages of a large‑scale mine development with long‑term work secured.
The Role
Working as part of the project commercial team, you will support the administration of construction and mining contracts throughout the project lifecycle. This role would suit someone looking to further develop their career in mining and major projects.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with contract administration for construction and related works
  • Supporting variations, progress claims, cost tracking and reporting
  • Liaising with contractors, engineers and project stakeholders
  • Maintaining contract documentation and compliance
  • Assisting with procurement and commercial processes as required
About You
We are open to less experienced candidates who are keen to develop their skills, provided you have a solid foundation in contracts and construction.
To be successful, you will have:
  • Some experience in contracts and/or construction, gained within Australia
  • A relevant degree (e.g. Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Commerce or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a site‑based environment
  • The ability to work effectively on a FIFO roster
Work Rights
This role offers at least two years of work. Therefore, candidates must hold a valid Australian work visa that covers the duration of the assignment.
