About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to take a lead role supporting a major oil and gas client across an extensive program of offshore drilling and decommissioning activities. This is a long‑term engagement (minimum three years) suited to a senior professional with deep subsea and offshore contracting experience.
You will oversee the full contract lifecycle for complex, high‑value scopes of work, ensuring commercial integrity, compliance, and delivery performance across a multi‑year operations environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the negotiation, development, and administration of major contracts supporting offshore drilling and decommissioning programs.
  • Provide strategic commercial advice to project teams, senior stakeholders, and client representatives.
  • Manage contract performance, variations, claims, and contractor relationships to support safe, timely, and cost‑effective delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practice.
  • Drive continuous improvement across contracting and procurement processes.
  • Represent the commercial function across internal and external meetings, steering committees, and operational reviews.

About You
To be successful, you will bring:
  • Proven experience as a Contract Manager within oil & gas, specifically across subsea, offshore drilling, or decommissioning environments.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial frameworks, and offshore contracting models.
  • Demonstrated capability managing complex, multi‑year contracts with major service providers.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing to high‑performing project teams.
  • Perth‑based, with the flexibility to work from both Perth CBD offices and home.
