This growing manufacturing and construction business specialises in delivering residential building projects through a modern, systems‑driven model. Operating within the housing sector, the organisation has built a strong reputation for quality, efficiency and collaboration across its construction, manufacturing and development teams. With a steady project pipeline, they are now seeking to strengthen their commercial function with an experienced Contract Administrator.

Your new role

As a Contract Administrator, you will play a key role in overseeing procurement, cost control and contract administration across multiple residential projects. Working closely with estimating, construction and management teams, you will ensure labour, materials and plant are procured efficiently and projects are supported from pre‑construction through to completion. This is a hands‑on role with regular site engagement and exposure to the full build lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and issuing quote packages and analysing subcontractor pricing
  • Creating and managing purchase orders and supplier agreements
  • Assessing progress claims and authorising payments
  • Maintaining project registers, job files and reporting documentation
  • Coordinating building and occupancy approvals and supporting documentation
  • Monitoring project programs, budgets and cost performance
  • Supporting site teams and attending regular site and project meetings

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will bring proven contract administration experience within the construction sector, ideally across residential or commercial projects.

You will also have:

  • Strong knowledge of building approvals and certification processes
  • High‑level numeracy and contract administration skills
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive, team‑focused approach

Experience within volume residential or similar high‑output environments will be highly regarded.
