A well-established, privately owned developer builder with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use projects is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join its growing team, at their north Sunshine Coast location. With more than 15 years of operation and a robust pipeline of work, the business is entering a new phase of growth, now is an exciting time to join them.

Your new role

• Assisting with subcontract tendering, scope reviews, and contract negotiations.
• Supporting cost control, forecasting, progress claims, variations, and final accounts
• Managing design documentation, RFIs, drawing registers, and document control
• Administering project systems such as Procore (documentation and defects), cost-control platforms, estimating tools, and site management software
• Procuring materials, negotiating rates, and monitoring project expenditure
• Liaising closely with subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
• Providing administrative and contractual support to the Senior PM and site teams
• Assisting the development team with planning approvals, authority coordination, and feasibility pricing for future projects.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial or Town house construction
• A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A proactive mindset with a desire to grow and develop within a high-performing team
• Confident communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Experience using construction cost-control and project management systems (e.g. Jobpac, Cheops, Procore, or similar)
